What is the purpose of Crisp Regional Foundation’s Capital Campaign?

The Foundation is raising $450,000 to renovate and update our medical oncology department. We will expand the number of treatment areas, increase privacy, purchase new equipment, and completely upgrade the department to better meet our patient and family needs.

Why does the hospital need my contribution?

The hospital is founded on a not-for-profit philosophy with a commitment to providing excellent and compassionate care to all regardless of their ability to pay. With many pressing needs for new equipment and the constant tightening of healthcare operating margins, Crisp Regional is relying on philanthropy to ensure that leading-edge technology and excellent services will be available.

How will this renovation help our patients and their families?

We will be able to provide chemotherapy and other services in a beautiful, comfortable treatment environment—right here in Cordele. Because cancer patients often need daily treatment, our patients will have the best treatment possible without having to travel out of town. We will also provide a nice waiting area for family members who accompany their patients.

How will the Foundation raise these funds?

The Foundation has a volunteer board and fundraising committees of volunteers who are all working on the campaign. We have a focused fundraising plan for business gifts, annual donations, hospital employee giving through payroll deductions, physician giving, and major gifts that include naming opportunities. All gifts are tax-deductible and are restricted to this campaign. Once the $450,000 is pledged, we will begin the renovation and construction.

How does the success of Crisp Regional Hospital improve the lives and future of local citizens?

Excellent local health care and high caliber physicians drastically improve quality of life for us all offering exceptional health care without traveling outside of our community. Our newly renovated medical oncology department will improve privacy, convenience, renovated spaces, and clinical excellence for those in need.

How can I give to Crisp Regional Hospital Foundation?

Donations may be made in the form of cash, check, credit card, pledges, and gifts of real estate, annuity, stocks, or other. A comprehensive recognition program is already in place to thank donors and provide recognition. Gifts at all levels are appreciated and will be used to fund the renovation project.
