Hospice

Making end-of-life decisions can be very difficult. Fortunately, there are organizations such as Crisp Regional Hospice available to assist terminally ill patients and their loved ones.

Hospice care is usually delivered at home or in a home-like setting to persons in the final phase of terminal illness. It empowers patients to live with dignity, alert and pain-free, while involving families and loved ones in giving care.

Crisp Regional Hospice has this exact concept of care. We place emphasis on the living that is taking place. It is our goal to help persons with life-limiting illness to live as comfortably and as fully as possible until their death.

Crisp Regional Hospice provides an organized and complete program of care that includes the management of pain as well as the psychological, social, physical, and spiritual support needed by the patient and his or her family. Death bereavement care is provided for the family as long as the need or desire is there.
