Hospital ServicesAt Crisp Regional Hospital, we provide our patients with the latest advances in medical technology, state-of-the-art imaging services, non-invasive cardio diagnostic services, and rehabilitative services including occupational, physical, speech, and respiratory therapies. Our main hospital facility offers 73 licensed patient beds, 61 private patient rooms, 16 intensive care rooms, 8 birthing rooms, and 7 outpatient surgery rooms, all housed in 102,000 sq. ft. on 11 beautiful acres. Crisp Regional Hospital utilizes state-of-the-art technology to provide the best possible results to our patients. With the introduction of a new picture archiving and communication system (PACS), testing results are now available for physicians to view immediately from any location. In addition to making diagnosis and treatment planning much simpler for physicians, PACS provides benefits for patients. Increased clarity of images means less repeat testing and reduced patient exposure to radiation in repeat scans. PACS also eliminates any need for patients to transport films to and from their physician's office. Medical Imaging is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for the care and convenience of the community.
The Surgical Services Department at Crisp Regional Hospital offers a variety of comprehensive surgical services. Our qualified surgeons and surgical team utilize endoscopy and laparoscopic procedures to minimize pain and recovery time. We have Board-certified surgeons and anesthesiologists, state-of-the-art equipment, a professionally trained and experienced surgical team, and excellent customer service. Our highly trained nursing and technical staff work as a team with the physicians to provide outstanding, skilled and compassionate care.
Crisp Regional Hospital's Endoscopy Suite was opened in 2010. The newly designed suite is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and two procedure rooms to accommodate our patients. The endoscopy surgical staff specializes in gastrointestinal procedures.
Chemotherapy is administered under the close supervision of medical oncologists by specially trained oncology nurses, well-known for their caring attitudes and concern for their patients. Our comfortable treatment area provides a relaxing atmosphere for the treatments, which can usually be administered on an outpatient basis. The laboratory is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to provide support to the clinicians and customers in our community. Performance improvement and customer service are our primary goals. The Crisp Regional Laboratory is certified by CAP. There are only about 1400 clinical labs in the country with CAP certification. CAP is allowed to inspect labs to comply with and satisfy the Federal Law (CLIA) and laws of the State of Georgia. Our laboratory also has an agreement with the JCAHO to satisfy the JCAHO standards that apply to clinical laboratories.
