Crisp Living

Crisp Living Summer 2014Crisp Living is another tool Crisp Regional provides for maintaining, improving and communicating about our community’s health.  Dowload our latest issue, you’ll find useful information to guide you on the path to better health.  Our article on page 4 provides information about how to keep yourself and your family safe in the hot summer sun and the cooling waters, such as those of Lake Blackshear. On page 7, there’s important information from one of our experts in the Women’s Center at Crisp Regional about how mothers-to-be can stay healthy before baby is on the way. On page 6, we look at how to properly manage diabetes, which is a big concern in our area, and the article on page 3 discusses what can be done about swollen, discolored veins.

By popular demand, we’re providing a recipe for healthy and delicious blueberry muffins (page 5), like the ones on the cover of our last issue. We also feature two mouthwatering recipes using watermelon on our back cover. Click here to browse past issues.
